Step 1: Valuing Your Business
You've worked hard to build your nest egg and want a solid return on your investment. We will:
- Recast your companies financial statements to determine EBITDA and Seller's Discretionary Earnings.
- Establish a fair price opinion based on industry multiples, your asset base and special considerations.
- Explain alternative deal structures and there associated risk and return.
Extras:
- For businesses over $500K in revenue, we recommend a third-party business valuation from a certified business appraisor.
- At times, the valuation opinion may be dissappointing or may not be feasible given you personal situation. We offer a program to evaluate and quantify the cost and time to improve various aspects of your business in order to achieve your desired sales price.
Step 2: Preparing Your Business for Sale
A properly prepared business will stand out in the marketplace. We will:
- Maintain confidentiality with your customers, suppliers and employees.
- Work with you to complete a comprehensive questionnaire to best present your company.
- Write attractive listings to attract the attention of buyers interested in your business.
- Write a detailed Confidential Memorandum to share with qualified buyers.
